Generic notes
Sirid is a server side product that works in most of the
popular platforms such as Windows and Linux. The installation
has been made simple; The basic Windows installation requires little
more than pressing Next a couple of times while both the Windows and
Linux installers also provide considerable flexibility regarding the database
to use.
After you have completed all of the setup steps explained
below and the server has started up (the startup takes from
10 seconds to 2 minutes depending on the speed of your
computer) you can access Sirid from any computer using an
Internet browser (providing the computer you installed Sirid
into is connected to the Internet). See FAQ (Q1 & Q2) for more
information.
